DIWAI stands for Do It With AI. It's an AI-powered DIY assistant that helps you fix, plan, and design home improvement projects. Simply snap a photo or describe what you need, and DIWAI generates step-by-step plans with tools, materials, estimated costs, and safety guidance.

Go to the Projects tab, describe your project or pick one of the suggested ideas (like "Tile bathroom wall" or "Fix leaking tap"), then tap Generate Plan. DIWAI will create a detailed project plan with steps, tools, materials, and estimated costs within seconds.

DIWAI offers three camera modes:

Fix — Diagnose issues by photographing the problem. AI identifies what's wrong and creates a repair plan.
Plan — Create full project plans from photos of spaces or items you want to improve.
Design — AI room redesign that generates three design concepts with before & after mockups. Premium only.

The Free plan includes 1 project per month, basic AI analysis of your photos, and access to the nearby store finder to locate DIY shops in your area.

Pro gives you full access to AI Fix & Plan camera modes, unlimited projects, detailed shopping lists with estimated prices from major UK retailers, voice control for hands-free step execution, and comprehensive safety guidance.

Premium includes everything in Pro, plus AI Design Mode for full room redesign concepts, before & after comparison mockups, priority AI processing for faster results, and early access to new features.

Open your iPhone Settings > tap your Apple ID at the top > Subscriptions > select DIWAI > tap Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Yes! Both Pro and Premium offer a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged during the trial period, and you can cancel anytime before it ends.

Open DIWAI, go to your Profile, tap the subscription section, then tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Take a photo of your room, and DIWAI generates three unique design concepts complete with before & after mockup images. Select your favourite concept and the app creates a full project plan with steps, materials, and costs to bring that design to life.

The AI estimates prices based on major UK retailers such as B&Q, Screwfix, Wickes, and others. Prices are approximate and may vary depending on your location, availability, and market conditions. We recommend checking with your local store for exact pricing.

Yes! Tap the microphone icon during step execution for hands-free control. This is perfect for when your hands are busy with tools or materials. Voice control is available on Pro and Premium plans.

DIWAI uses your location to find nearby DIY stores, builders merchants, tool hire shops, and specialist suppliers within your chosen distance. You can browse categories, compare prices, and get directions to plan your shopping trip.

Go to Profile > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data including projects, photos, and account information. This action cannot be undone.

DIWAI collects camera photos (used for AI analysis, not stored permanently on servers), location data (for the store finder), and basic account information. We do not track you for advertising. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Yes, Google Sign-In is fully supported. You can also create an account with email and password. Both options are available on the sign-in screen.

This usually means the app couldn't connect to the App Store. Ensure you have a stable internet connection and try restarting the app. If the issue persists, check that you're signed into your Apple ID in Settings.

Design Mode can take up to 90 seconds as it generates custom AI mockup images for your room. Make sure you're on a stable WiFi connection. Fix and Plan modes are typically much faster (10-30 seconds). If analysis consistently fails, try restarting the app.

Go to your iPhone Settings > scroll down to DIWAI > toggle Camera on. You may need to restart the app after granting permission.

Design Mode is an exclusive feature that requires a Premium subscription (£9.99/mo). The Design option appears in the camera mode selector for all users, but generating designs requires Premium. Upgrade from the Profile tab or the subscription paywall.
